History of the Windows
The stained glass windows in St. Michael’s were designed by Willet Stained Glass Studios of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (now Willet Hauser Architectural Glass). Plans and designs were initiated in 1975. The last window to be installed was "The Great Judgment" (detail shown above) in the center of the rear vestibule in 1977.
There are nine stained glass windows at St. Michael's. As arrayed here, the six windows in the church sanctuary are numbered clockwise beginning with the windows behind the pulpit on the right (north) side facing the altar. Three other windows are found in the vestibule and stairway in the rear of the church. Click on a window icon or label to go to the page for the full window.
